Since 1977 the Harris Cuttyhunk marine boats have been a popular choice among commercial fisherman. Our customer Eddie is a commercial fisherman in Massachusetts and he needed to upgrade the rear halogen lights on his 27 foot Harris Cuttyhunk.
Why you need LED Lights for your Harris Cuttyhunk
The rear of the Harris Cuttyhunk can come equipped with one or two halogen lights that are used to illuminate the Stern side of the boat. In the early morning hours these lights are great for safely moving around while getting all the fishing gear in place before you head-out for the day. However, Eddie noticed the standard halogen lights have become dull and wasn't performing like they used to so he new it was time for a LED light upgrade for his Harris Cuttyhunk.

Eddie went with two, Aurora 6 Inch Marine LED Lights. These Harris Cuttyhunk light bars produces a combined 10,272 lumens and comes equipped with a combination beam pattern. The combination beam pattern utilizes both flood and spot optics to give you a beam that goes both far and wide.

- To ensure an impenetrable seal the boat light bar is then sealed together with 316 stainless steel screws inserted every 1.5" of surface area which makes it durable enough for the most extreme boating conditions.
- The PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) is engineered with unique temperature protection, voltage protection and current protection designs to maximize efficiency and increase durability. This unique design means no electromagnetic interference with other nearby electronics on your vessel.
- The boat light bar is equipped with a special breather apparatus that is uniquely designed to prevent condensation and water intrusion.
- Outdoor Dupont painting coats the boat light bar housing, guaranteeing the housing will remain unchanged for 5 years.
