Our customer Ben, purchased a Bodyguard Off Road bumper for the front of his 2008 Ford F-450. While making his purchase he opted to find a more affordable lighting option for his truck since he needed to acquire two 30" dual row light bars and four 3" LED pod lights. After researching different light bar companies that could potentially fit his Bodyguard off road bumper he ended up going with all Aurora light bars for his Ford F-450.
Ford Bodyguard Off Road Bumper Cube Lights
For the Ford F-450 LED cube lights he opted to install four of the Aurora 3" LED Cube lights with a flood beam pattern. Powered by four, 10 watt Osram LED chips, just one pair (two pods) of these lights will produce 3,880 Lumens.
These rugged Ford F-450 LED light cubes also have the following features:
- GE Lexan Lens - This Scratch and UV resistant lens is 300 times stronger than glass
- Deutsch Waterproof connector
- Military Breather - Allows this light bar to rapidly adjust to its surroundings to prevent unwanted moisture build up.
These LED cube lights are available in four beam patterns:
- Flood Beam
- Emits the LED light at 60 degrees which discharges a very wide beam to approximately 1,739 Feet.
- Spot Beam
- Emits the LED light at 10 degrees which discharges a very narrow beam that projects further than the competitors at 2,297 feet.
- Diffused Beam
- A Diffused beam produces a softer light which gives the illusion of the light surrounding the obstacle as opposed to other beams which shine directly onto the obstacle which can create a glare.
- Amber Beam
- Amber lights are great while navigating snowy or foggy conditions These lights are available in both spot and flood beam patterns
- Wide Angle Scene Beam
- A Scene beam pattern is an exclusive & unique pattern that emits light in a short but wide beam pattern at 120°.
